I tease you not, for I bring you Geoguessr.com — the most addicting free game on the internet. Geoguessr’s premise is quite simple. You are dropped into a random spot in this planet, via google maps streetview, and by using visual clues, you are expected to guess on a map where you are.
Allow me an example. You go to the website and you are dropped here. Perhaps somewhere in Europe!
You decide to explore the scenery for clues.
Oh look! we’re by a river!
And along the way you find a sign! Looks like we’re in a German speaking country, by the Rhine River!
We’re in Switzerland!
You pull out your map on the right of your screen and find Switzerland!
You make your guess.
And you see how close your guess was!
Repeat… For hours!
